220417 aespa to pre-release new single, “Welcome to MY WORLD” on May 2nd

• – MY WORLD will have 6 songs
  – Season 2 of “aespa: SM Culture Universe” will kick-start this era as well — focusing on the aespa members in the real world

• sm loves a good pre-release, just dropping em like it’s nothing

• Kind of surprised it’s only 6 songs. I hope Salty and Sweet and Thirsty are in the album but I’m now super curious about the title track …

• I wonder if this song is what they were filming in LA

  People have ID-ed the locations in the teasers and they’re LA, Sydney, and Seoul, and the girls have filmed stuff in those cities recently so it would make sense with the whole “real world” side this comeback seems to be going for

• So 6 songs on this mini – the pre-release being confirmed as completely new.

  I wonder if they will actually release 6 NEW songs, unheard even in the synk concerts and then follow up later this year with a full album, including the synk songs.

  I’d see that as a huge win.

• Okay maybe we would have the first album in fall?

• I was checking Music Plaza’s site and there’s four different versions of this single. Anyone know what the differences are?
