230223 aespa – SM Culture Universe (Episode 3: Girls)

• BoA?! Is she the Black Mamba? Or the next villain?

• Naevis wants to cone to the real world? I wonder who they will cast to play her?

• Does anyone feel like the story doesn’t flow as well as I expected it to be? 🐣 It’s still okay tho. But still, if you didn’t watch Ep. 1 and 2, this wouldn’t make a lot of sense. 🥲

• This is arguably one of the best pieces of Media I have seen out of Kpop. All the drawings and animations and different art styles look superb. While maybe not something too hard the girls did some good acting too! Loved their cute and wholesome vibes in the last scenes 🥰 but they spend most of the video being absolute badasses!

  Wonder what the future holds…would the next album focus on the real world? Will BoA be featured in MVs or participate in a song collab? Will Naevis still be a main part of their concept or just focus on her own debut and content?

  I gotta say I haven’t been the biggest fan of their concept, but you cannot not appreciate how well executed it has been!

• Still can’t get over how cool the switching forms of media is.

• Pet peeve: Winter’s hair in the poster is not the hair she has in the episode.

• whatever artists they hire for the 2D parts are INSANE. the shot of the determined/angry eyes in episode 2 was incredible, the animated sequences in episode 1 were so good too. the comic book and animated portion of this episode is gorg. wish the 3D and CG aspects of this series could match up 🙁

  the aespa girls really don’t have acting as their strong suit (yet) lol, but i loved ningning’s cheeky lil wink in the beginning and some of karina’s line deliveries are not bad actually!

• It’s so cool🤯

• I keep on wondering if they’ll add a fifth member to Aespa, like they did with Yeri in RV.
